The owners and management of the Port of the Islands Marina are dedicated to promoting education and awareness with respect to the preservation of the Everglades and the 10,000 Islands.
An Education Center has been established within the Ship's Store that contains important information regarding manatee education and awareness, protecting the Southwest Florida environment as well as boater safety procedures.
Use of the Education Center is available for Schools and other governmental and non-profit organizations.
